ABOUT LOU PAZ

In 1976, Lou Paz became the "pioneer" of mobile D.J.'s in RI.  As music formats changed, improved, and advanced, high-tech, electronic audio equipment became available.  Lou continued to stay ahead of the others by upgrading his system.

Several years ago, Lou became one of the first DJ's to utilize the mini-disc format.  Like their predecessor the CD, MDs as they are called, are also digitally encoded, laser read, and offer random access to instantly locate the beginning of each track.  But, the advantages over CDs are that they are smaller, encased for protection and you can type in the titles of each track you've recorded.  Not so with a CD recorder.  Now, from out on the dance floor while teaching various line dances, conducting children's musical games, or just helping to promote a good time on the dance floor away from the audio console, Lou can actually see the titles in the LCD screen of each song paused in Standby, press PLAY, and that's it.  Talk about efficiency!  This picture shows the Walk-Man version of the MD player/recorder.  The full size professional unit has a bigger screen and lighted letters and numbers.

Everyone at the party or social function will have plenty to say when the evening is over.  You have to see it to believe it!  When thinking about entertainment, think Lou Paz -- Often Imitated, Never Duplicated.
